In 2019 Navalprogetti has completed the design for the installation of scrubber and ballast water system on seven existing containerships.

The challenging design started from the 3D laser scan of the ships spaces allowing the modelling and routing of the scrubber and ballast water treatment piping systems through the point cloud.

The installation was successfully completed at Chinese shipyards in early 2020.
