An Annual Appointment Set by the Project Management Plan

In accordance with the schedule outlined in Deliverable 9.2 – Project Management Plan, the fourth annual General Assembly of the sHYpS Project was successfully held on June 24th, 2025, in Decin, Czech Republic. The meeting was graciously hosted and organized by our partner Chart Industries, Inc., and brought together project partners to discuss the progress of the project’s technical and administrative activities.

Hybrid Format to Ensure Broad Participation

To maximize accessibility and ensure the involvement of all consortium members, the General Assembly was organized in a hybrid format. Participants from Navalprogetti, Lloyd’s Register, the University of Trieste, and Chart attended in person, while the remaining partners joined remotely via Microsoft Teams. This inclusive setup allowed for productive interaction and active engagement across the entire consortium.

Navalprogetti’s Contribution to the General Assembly

Representing Navalprogetti, Kristin Zuric (Deputy Managing Director) gave a comprehensive presentation on Work Package 9 (Project Management), focusing on key administrative aspects such as the Amendment update, the Periodic Report, and preparations for the upcoming Review Meeting with the Project Officer.

In parallel, Engineer Irene Lavagnini (R&D Manager at Navalprogetti) illustrated the technical progress related to Work Packages 2, 6, and 7, highlighting advancements in design and engineering activities carried out under Navalprogetti‘s leadership.

Work Package Progress and Project Coordination

Throughout the day, each Work Package Leader presented the current status of their activities, facilitating a thorough review of the project’s progress and coordination. This structured approach reinforced team alignment and laid the groundwork for upcoming milestones.

Site Visit to Chart Ferox Facilities

A particularly enriching moment of the day was the guided visit to the Chart Ferox production facilities, where participants had the opportunity to view the TCS/FPR (Tank Conditioning System / Fuel Processing and Regulation) system. This hands-on experience added concrete value to the discussions, giving attendees insight into the real-world application of the project’s innovations.
