A Strong Presence at a Strategic Maritime Event
Navalprogetti proudly participated in Seafuture 2025, held at the Naval Base of La Spezia from 29 September to 2 October. Recognized as one of the most influential international exhibitions dedicated to the blue economy, maritime and defence technologies, and sustainable innovation, Seafuture serves as a key meeting point for institutions, industry leaders, research centers, and companies committed to advancing the future of the maritime sector.
This year, Navalprogetti strengthened its presence through its long-standing collaboration with Goriziane Holding S.p.A. and Goriziane Group, sharing Stand B15 throughout the event. The company was represented by a dedicated and highly skilled team: Managing Director Pierluigi Busetto, R&D Manager Irene Lavagnini, and Naval Architect Filippo Rezzante, who welcomed visitors, partners, and stakeholders over the course of four dynamic and inspiring days.

Connecting, Sharing, and Building New Opportunities
From the very first day, the Navalprogetti team actively engaged in discussions with industry professionals, exploring new collaborations in both the maritime and defence sectors. The exhibition provided the ideal environment to exchange perspectives, present new ideas, and deepen relationships with partners and clients.
The energy and enthusiasm at Stand B15 reflected Navalprogetti’s commitment to driving forward technological development and supporting the growth of a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable maritime ecosystem.

Highlighting Navalprogetti’s Expertise and Ongoing Projects
Throughout the event, Navalprogetti showcased its core engineering capabilities, new project developments, and long-term strategic vision. A particular focus was placed on the company’s activities in advanced naval design, offshore engineering, and clean energy solutions.
Visitors were guided through the company’s key areas of involvement by R&D Manager Irene Lavagnini, who also introduced one of the event’s main attractions: a physical model designed by Navalprogetti to demonstrate the functioning of the hydrogen-based energy system developed within the framework of the sHYpS Project (Sustainable Hydrogen Powered Shipping).

sHYpS: A Milestone in Hydrogen-Based Maritime Innovation
As the coordinator of the Horizon Europe sHYpS Project, Navalprogetti presented the latest advancements in the development of hydrogen-powered solutions for the maritime sector. The exhibited model allowed attendees to gain a tangible understanding of how the proposed system operates, highlighting its potential to accelerate the transition toward low-emission and zero-emission shipping technologies.
This initiative underscores Navalprogetti’s strategic commitment to supporting innovation and contributing to the decarbonization of maritime transport, in alignment with European environmental goals.

Four Days of Progress, Insights, and New Perspectives
Seafuture 2025 proved to be a highly successful edition for Navalprogetti:
- Four days of productive meetings,
